AG Koster Settlement with Kansas City Locksmith
A locksmith company from Kansas allegedly committed false advertising, stating lower prices in the ads but charging higher.

Attorney General Chris Koster arranged and announced the settlement with Alpha Locksmith LLC and general manager Eyal Tom Lugassi. Settlement was required from the said company, amounting to $1,485 to 10 consumers and $800 to civil penalties and merchandising practices. They were also required to comply and follow the commercially reasonable prices for the services or products they provide.
According to Koster, this legal action is essential and will benefit not only the consumers but also the whole industry.
"Not only does this settlement return money consumers were overcharged, but it also benefits the entire locksmith industry in Kansas City by ensuring fair play among local locksmiths."
